‘ve been up reading the word and writing what God has been revealing to me in my spirit and heart so I may continue to spread my love with hopes of penetrating the hearts of people who are battling negative emotions at the hands and mouths of others. The only way to accomplish this goal is by giving it all to God. I was scrolling through Facebook and came across a meme that read “notice how people told Colin Kaepernick and LeBron James to ‘stick to sports’ haven’t told Kanye to stick to making music and shoes.” This statement evoked this very thought that’s in all my messages. God is telling us to stick to what He gives us power and freedom to do and let Him fight our battles. God is the judge and the jury when it’s all said and done. We cannot fight fire with fire because it wages war and keeps us divided, and how our nation, our country, is reaping what is sown in it, but when we fight with love, respect, and honor for our God, who is the Creator of all things, the Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and The End, we can rest assured we will live in peace. Put your faith and trust in God and watch Him work in your favor. That’s how we win. We’re always able to thank God for His many blessings, for His grace and mercy over our lives, for keeping us, but we choose not to love and respect one another. We are free in God’s love for us. The word for me today was from Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you says the Lord, plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” God wants to use us, our voices, to spread love and get as many people connected to Him as possible while we still can and before He comes through here and shuts us all down. So, before you speak, take a moment to evaluate what you’re about to say and ask yourself, am I speaking life or death into a person or situation? My post yesterday didn’t get much feedback, but that was okay because it is what the world needs for change. If/when we don’t agree, dislike, or receive what someone is saying, don’t say anything at all, just keep it moving and focus on what you are doing, your purpose and God’s good grace. That’s how you show love and respect for others’ differences. Just make sure you are spreading love and positivity, not hate and negativity. Speak life not death.
