Let’s talk about sin and what God has revealed to me in my struggle of understanding why I have consciously and unconsciously chose to do things that are not always of the Holy Spirit. When I choose to satisfy my flesh, do things I know are wrong, or simply not good for me but do it anyway for whatever reasons. Say it with me. We are not perfect in our own flesh and will never be. Jesus was the only perfect person.

God knew our life before we did and why he made the ultimate sacrifice to save us from our sins. However, he did not bring us into this world without a way out of the darkness. Thank you, Jesus. He put us on this earth to train us up in the way that we should go. He leads us into the paths of righteousness. You don’t know where to go until you know where you’re going. It’s our life, our journey, and there are no shortcuts. We are going to experience the bad with the good so we can make a well-informed decision about how we choose to live our lives, in hell or heaven on earth.

After life on earth, no one knows how God will judge us and where your soul will rest. Therefore, it’s not our job to put people in hell because of their sins when we are not God. We must learn our roles and play our positions well.

We must be molded by God, not people, to be who He created us to be. However, God will use all of us to rely on one another for His perfect will. We will prosper in due time, but first, we must grow strong in the Lord where we are weak in the flesh. We must go through the process to reach our destiny.  Also, we must accept who we are, flaws and all, and lean on God’s guidance because He is surely leading us all. Be still and listen. You must choose to follow and trust God and God alone. Come as you are. He will not confuse you but make things crystal clear for your inner peace, joy, and happiness in your life. This is power. That is what he wants for us, not to be guilt ridden in our sins when He has forgiven us. Now, he is guiding and leading us to be greater than our sins because He is within us. God is our salvation. With God as the head of our lives, you can do all but fail. Everything else must get behind us. We are free.

When you’re constantly reminded of your sins, shortcomings, and not the goodness of the Lord and His favor in your life, you become powerless. You are weak and overwhelmed with negative emotions about who you are. You become a dream killer, stealing hope for change, have faith that God will deliver you from the things that aren’t of His perfect will. Have joy that He has given you because you are saved by the blood of Jesus because He loves us that much and remind yourself why He commands us to rejoice in the days that He has made. He didn’t tell us not to be happy because we are sinners and not worthy of the benefits of His love. That’s not living, but a distraction to keep you from praising God of His glory, His love. Your freedom. It’s a trick of the enemy. Don’t fall for it.

John 10:10 (AMP) the thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].

Once upon a time, I was heavily convicted in my spirit, while broken and going through straight chaos in my life, behind who I choose to be with and what I choose to do. My choices. I began to think God wasn’t blessing me with what my heart desired because I was a sinner and I couldn’t help myself. My heart ached with pain, hurt, confusion, and disappointment. I would go to church for relief, help, and sometimes the sermon would be about sin and how God doesn’t like this or that. He won’t bless you or bless no mess. You have to do this, you have to do that, etc. Condemnation. Of course, I would feel even more guilty about me doing things I’m not supposed to do or should do according to the word as it was being taught. I wanted to know why Lord, when you are so good to me. I felt weak and lost. But God.

He heard my cries. It was just me and God. This is what He will do in the midst of our storms because of our sins. He will show up in our life, like no other times ever before, take you broken in pieces into His loving arms, and bless you when others said he wouldn’t. You know why? He is God. He loves us unconditionally. He needs us to know He is God alone and no one can tell us what He won’t do for His children.

This is why it is essential for you to get to know yourself and build a solid relationship, foundation, with God for your solid ground. Your purpose. Then, focus on God’s promises to us. His love, grace, mercy, and favor in our lives. Look at all that God has done for you, despite you. You must understand and know it is nothing we can or will ever do to deserve it, but it is ours. We belong to Him. Therefore, it is already done. Also, why He tells us not to grow weary in doing good just don’t lose heart. Don’t let go of His unchanging hands. Hold onto His love. It is our greatest gift for a well-balanced life.

We pay for our sins and suffer the consequences of our actions and others daily, These things should and will bring about change in us. This is what it means to renew your mind and choose peace over misery. Choose God. Choose you. So, please don’t beat yourself up for being you or not doing everything right. Keep fighting to be better, live better, grow closer to God, and prosper in His unwavering love. Don’t focus on the lows when you are aiming higher. You are perfect in God’s love so let His will be done in you.
