People who want clarity on their purpose, accountability, help with solving problems, becoming confident with making difficult decisions, creating a plan to achieve personal life goals, develop self-awareness for getting unstuck, and building structure for desired outcomes.
How is life coaching different from counseling?
Life coaching focuses on transformation for clients who feel/know they can change their circumstances with help from gaining perspective, setting goals, and planning versus counseling that focuses on clients’ mental illness or sickness who do not believe they have the power to change their circumstances because of traumatic experiences.
How did you get into life coaching?
Finding myself, my way, and realizing that my gifts and talents can be used to help people do the same. I have always wanted to be a teacher from early childhood onward. I care about how people think and feel from a place of understanding to help them feel better and realize opportunities to change their circumstances. I took great interest in psychology and learning human behavior throughout all of my early adulthood years and studying psychology in college. Now, I have chosen life coaching based on my experience, education, skills, purpose, and mission for who and where I am today.
Are you a spiritual life coach?
I am not a spiritual life coach, but you will feel the Spirit of God within me when receiving my services. When you are connected and in alignment with your true self everything in you reflects who God is in you. That is all spiritual.
What is the biggest obstacle I have overcome?
Accepting who I was/am, is ok. Learning self-control and understanding how acceptance helps you to identify your worth and unique calling in being true to who you are and who God is in you.
