It has been on my heart to speak about support and encouragement for one another because of the love we share. I love to support people whenever I can. Especially, if I know what’s going on to have the opportunity to show up, but sometimes I cannot make every occasion. I want to touch base on my experience at a game Friday night. Going into the third quarter, my team had only two points on the scoreboard. It seemed as though they couldn’t catch a break. You could feel the dead energy and hear a few shouts far and in between of people trying to cheer for our players. So, I started yelling alongside Danny, and we’re trying to get our end pumped up. I said a quick prayer for the power of God to stand up for our boys so at least with a loss, they would still win at heart by giving it their best shot. I love a good fight almost better than a victory. So, I was so happy when they came back fighting and put up forty-three more points in the second half. They played with heart and determination. I loved hearing my nephews rooting for their brother, cousins, and friends, as well as everyone else who was shouting. It was music to my ears. I said that we must stay present in our fight to win in life. We’ll always need that ride or die support from our support groups/system. It helps us to cope and keep going. I need it too and am thankful that it’s given to me. It’s an important source to our success. We are all family in some shape, form, or fashion. I love how God used the technology of today to give us a platform for instant communication to promote and share ourselves: our thoughts, humor, passions, beliefs, struggles, losses, ideas, accomplishments, and family. We are a form of support to one another whether it’s mental, spiritual, or emotional. No matter where you turn there is God, in the midst of everything. He shows up everywhere in others through wisdom and love. I see it when each of you share “what’s on your mind”. That’s why I like to elaborate; go deeper than the surface for a detailed account of my heart and experiences with life, with God. I know that God has a purpose and plan for our lives which is in our own unique calling whereas we are an extension to His greatness. When our people step up and step out to pursue their visions, dreams, and/or goals in business or life, we should support them in any way possible. That’s how you truly show love and wish them the best even if you don’t patronize with them. At least, help spread the word with your effortless support. It’s so easy to do; you don’t have to spend one cent of your money. All you have to do is like, comment, or share what your friends or family are doing. Someone else may be interested even when you are not. God doesn’t intend for us to be alone in our journey. It’s a great feeling to be uplifted and pushed by your loved ones to press forward when you’re striving to make a better life for yourself or simply live a fulfilled life, doing what you love and want to do. So again, I’m so grateful and thank each and every one of you who takes the time to acknowledge and encourage me to keep going as I encourage you to focus your attention and energy on yourself and your relationship with God alone because it’s where you’ll find your true identity, way, strength, and freedom to hope, peace, love, and happiness; complete victory over your life. Struggles with finding yourself make it harder for you to be open and free to support one another in pure love without feeling a sense of stubbornness for whatever reasons that hold you back from being supportive. For me, I used to be so consumed with identifying myself; my strengths and weaknesses when I failed to consider or recognize what I wasn’t doing to support people. However, it’s never anything against that person, just my state of mind and position in life. I had to work through my fears and build up my courage and faith in God before I was able to share my mind and heart.
Hebrews 12:1-2 AMP, Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who by faith have testified to the truth of God’s absolute faithfulness], stripping off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us, let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us, [looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecta of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work]. Put your faith and trust in God in pursuit to discover yourself. You’ll be full of joy as your purpose becomes evident in the way you live your life.
