My spiritual and inspirational post today was in addition to my shout to my nephew for his accomplishments which I believe was a distraction from my message. How ironic! So, I wanted to separate the two so God’s word could stand alone. No distractions! As I was saying, I always have something in mind or at heart that I want to speak on, but I must take my time and make sure my messages are coming from what God has spoken to me in spirit so I may ensure it is all Him because sometimes I may become distracted with life which could influence the contents of my message and I don’t want or need that. I will always connect with you through what I have learned from our Heavenly Father because it is good. Throughout my journey, I have been distracted by so many things whether it’s a combination of personal struggles, religion, people, negative emotions, opinions, or actions of others. Noise. These distractions kept me from being truly connected to God and recognizing His unconditional love for me. He could not use or empower me to be free within myself when my focus, attention, and energy was given to mankind and/or the world before knowing Him personally. He needed my attention so I could know it is Him who is the head of my life and supplies me with all my needs to thrive in this world. It is Him who picked me up and carried me when I was broken-hearted by what or who I chose to put my faith in. He needs us to know and trust Him. Our faith should always be in Him so we may never be misled or broken by the obstacles we will face in life that are meant to break us. But GOD. When we put our trust in Him, He has promised that no weapon formed against us shall prosper; meaning, if you’re destroyed by life, it is self-inflicted because you’re not trusting God to guide and deliver you from yourself, your circumstances. He knows our weakness, and only through Him, you are strengthened and standing on solid ground. I truly feel confident, secure, and grounded in God’s love and so should you. Ephesians 3:16-21 AMP, “May He grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inner self, [indwelling your innermost being and personality], so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. And may you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely] grounded in love, be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love]; and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself]. Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us.” Be courageous and confident in the God in you. No one else can bless your life like God.
