Thank you God for the priceless and simple things of life that none of us should ever take for granted. Yesterday, I came across this meme that had me feel like I needed to express myself because I identify as a believer in Christ. As a Christian, I took offense to it, and my instinct was to speak on it right then and there but God wouldn’t allow it because I was too passionate about what I felt, and my words would have been energized with emotions rather than love and kindness. So, I slept on it and referred back to the word of God where I highlighted these scriptures, being conscious of the issues of the world/man who keeps us divided and disconnected from what really matters: God. The scriptures read:
They [who teach twisted doctrine] are of the world and belong to it; therefore they speak from the [viewpoint of the] world [with its immoral freedom and baseless theories–demanding compliance with their opinions and ridiculing the values of the upright], and the [gullible one of the] world listens closely and pays attention to them. We [who teach God’s word] are from God [energized by the Holy Spirit], and whoever knows God [through personal experience] listens to us [and has a deeper understanding of Him]. Whoever is not of God does not listen to us. By this we know [without any doubt] the spirit of truth [motivated by God] and the spirit of error [motivated by Satan] (1 John 4:5-6 AMP).
Don’t let anyone forget these things. And with God as your witness, you must warn them not to argue about words. These arguments don’t help anyone. In fact, they ruin everyone who listens to them. Do your best to win God’s approval as a worker who doesn’t need to be ashamed, and who teaches only the true message. Keep away from worthless and useless talk. It only leads people farther away from God. Be humble when you correct people who oppose you. Maybe God will lead them to turn to him and learn the truth. They have been trapped by the devil, and he makes them obey him, but God may help them escape (2 Timothy 2:14-16, 25-26 CEV).
You do know the Spirit of God; the Son of God, Jesus, and his blood, Christ, is not white or black? The Holy Spirit is in each and every one of us no matter your race because God is the Creator of life and the world we live in. How do you think our ancestors overcame slavery in the way slavery was back in those times when we weren’t free? They fought for our freedom by the power of God and His love for His children that He created. God had to stand up in them so He could save us from man that tried to destroy us. But God. Now, some of us are allowing man to destroy us internally with mind control where God can’t reach or use you for the good of this world. This is how men “dumb us down” on moral integrity and values. Some of us give the “white man” too much power over our destiny and are incapable of loving our neighbor because of the hate we carry in our hearts for our ancestors’ suffering; not being able to carry out God’s will to love and forgive one another despite how the enemy may offend you. Distractions. He asks for us to forgive so you can live in peace and happiness knowing that you are free. I am reminded how the thoughts/truth in this Meme is looked at as a slave mentality. It keeps you locked up in your minds so you’re not productive in doing what God has for you. God is not religious; people are. Know the difference between the two. He is God alone and He’s within you! Wake up and stay awake in God’s love!
